The tired paving and loose concrete sections were broken out and removed. The area was cleared to make way for a new sub-base installation.Full Ground Excavation:
We excavated the driveway area to the appropriate depth, ensuring space for proper foundations and long-term structural stability.Hardcore Sub-Base Installation:
An MOT Type 1 compacted hardcore base was installed across the full footprint, providing a durable foundation and ensuring excellent load-bearing support.Sand Screeding & Levelling:
A sharp sand layer was applied, screeded to a precise level to prepare for accurate block laying.Block Paving Installation:
High-quality granite block paving was laid in a classic herringbone pattern throughout. The blocks provide both aesthetic appeal and enhanced durability.Charcoal Border & Detailing:
Charcoal block paving was used to edge the entire driveway, adding structure and definition. Curved detailing was added to match the property’s natural shape.- Finishing & Jointing Sand:
All paving was machine compacted and kiln-dried sand was brushed into the joints, locking everything in securely and completing the look.
