Replacing the Old Concrete Driveway

The original driveway consisted of worn concrete sections, with weeds growing through the joints and grass bordering the edges. The mixed surfaces gave the approach a dated appearance.

Our team replaced the old surface with a coordinated block paved driveway, creating a consistent finish along the side of the house. The completed layout provides access to the garage and paved space around the property’s side entrances.

Herringbone Paving with Contrasting Borders

Red and charcoal-toned blocks have been laid in a herringbone pattern, complementing the property’s red brickwork. The blended colours add depth and character across the driveway.

Charcoal edging and a lighter inset border frame the paving, defining the boundaries beside the lawn and fencing. Matching border details around the entrance steps bring these features into the overall design.

Decorative Entrance and Paving Features

The driveway entrance features a decorative band combining light blocks, red tones and a charcoal zigzag detail. This creates a distinctive transition from the pavement onto the drive.

Square motifs positioned along the driveway repeat the contrasting colours, adding interest without overwhelming the main herringbone pattern.

The finished frontage also features timber fencing with concrete posts and gravel boards, providing a clearly defined boundary alongside the paving.
