From Front Lawn to Driveway
Before the transformation, the front garden consisted of a rectangular lawn with a narrow slab pathway leading to the entrance. The layout separated the front of the house from the existing driveway running down the side.
Our team removed the lawn and old pathway, replacing them with block paving to create additional off-road parking space. The new layout opens up the frontage and provides a continuous paved approach to the front door.
Charcoal Paving with a Light Border
The main driveway features charcoal rectangular blocks laid in a neat, staggered pattern. Their dark colour coordinates with the property’s exterior, giving the entrance a consistent appearance.
A contrasting light-toned border frames the driveway and defines its edges against the pavement and adjoining surfaces. A matching inset line separates the front parking area from the paved strip along the side of the house.
Neat Edging and Drainage Details
Careful cuts around the house and boundaries give the paving a tidy finish. A linear drainage channel runs along the right-hand edge of the new driveway, keeping the drainage detail neatly integrated into the layout.
The completed surface makes better use of the former lawn area while removing the need to mow this section of the front garden.
