Full Excavation & Site Clearance:
We began by lifting and disposing of the existing concrete slabs and damaged base. The surrounding planting ares were protected, and the ground was carefully excavated to allow for the new patio structure.Sub-Base Installation & Preparation:
A solid MOT Type 1 sub-base was laid and compacted across the entire area to provide a stable and long-lasting foundation. A weed membrane was installed to reduce future maintenance and preserve the structure.Non-Slip Porcelain Paving Installation:
We installed high-quality beige non-slip porcelain tiles, selected for their durability and elegant finish. The tiles were carefully laid with minimal joints for a clean, seamless appearance that’s also safe for wet conditions.Contrasting Block Paved Border:
To enhance the design and tie in with the existing garden pathway, we installed a curved edge border using dark red and charcoal block paving. This created a strong visual contrast and framed the new patio beautifully.Finishing Touches:
All pointing was completed with a jointing compound suitable for porcelain, and the area was pressure cleaned and tidied on completion, leaving the garden ready for immediate use.
