Removing the Old Paving & Gravel

Before work began, the area consisted of a mixture of loose gravel, old concrete paving slabs and uneven sections of ground. The different surfaces made the space look dated and lacked the clean, consistent finish the customer wanted.

The existing materials were removed and the area was prepared ready for the installation of the new cobble paving.

New Grey Sorrento Cobble Paving

For the new surface, we installed grey Sorrento cobble paving, providing a stylish finish that works particularly well alongside the property’s traditional red brick exterior.

The cobbled surface has been installed throughout the main area and continues around the rear of the property, creating a seamless finish rather than several separate surfaces.

A darker contrasting border has been used around key edges to neatly frame the paving and provide additional definition.

New Paved Patio Area & Drainage

The project also included paving the area directly outside the rear doors, creating a clean and practical space that can be used as a patio or seating area.

A linear drainage channel has been incorporated across the paving near the property, helping to manage surface water while maintaining a neat finish across the installation.
